Bland Hack Pictures is a production company based in Atlanta, GA. Comprised of college BFFs Jamie Hawkins-Gaar and Julian Modugno, the duo met at Georgia State University and spent four long years perfecting the craft of fart jokes filmmaking.
Two of our films were created as part of the Campus MovieFest competition: Me and My Bot, which won the 2007 Very Funny Award at Georgia State and went on to be shown at the Regional and International Competitions, and Carboy: The Five-Seater with the Heart of Gold, which took home the prize for Best Comedy at the 2006 International Grand Finale.
In 2008, we completed our first feature length film, Loaded Guns: The Movie, in collaboration with Twinhead Theatre. The film premiered to a sold out audience at the Plaza Theatre in Atlanta, GA and went on to pick up Best Local Feature at the 2008 Atlanta Underground Film Festival.
Since then, our videos have been featured on CollegeHumor.com, FunnyorDie.com, Break.com, Comedy Central, and Atom.com, where our Texting While Walking PSA became a Weekly Showdown winner. Did we mention it was also featured on the pinnacle of every filmmakers’ dream – The O’Reilly Factor (correspondent Juliet Huddy named it one of the “dumbest things of the week”)!?
